Sass Up that Suitcase

Right about now, as the final Christmas decorations are packed away and the last bit of tinsel is swept up off the floor, the houses are looking bare and the weather outside is cold, bleak, and gray. If you’re anything like me, your mind is daydreaming to a land where the sun is sparkling, the winds are mild, and the daytime temperature rarely falls below 83 degrees. And for the lucky few who have credit cards that aren’t maxed out from the holiday shopping, a trip to sunnier places is a very real possibility. Call the travel agent, book the vacation, pack your suitcase. That’s all there is to it, right? Here’s a tip: don’t forget to have your name and address on your suitcase a la the sandal luggage tag. It’s bright and colorful and so darn cute and it will make even the blackest of suitcases stand out. That way, once you are in paradise, you aren’t standing at the carousel too long looking for your luggage. It will be easy to spot so that you can get on your way to putting your toes in the sand. The sun’s rays are calling to you after all.
