If you have people in your household that are anything like those in mine, you can appreciate the term “comedy of errors.” You might also be able to better understand the kiddie concept of “do-overs.” We’re a family of four in our house, but we are very much prone to making mistakes and committing errors. But those mistakes of ours aren’t life or death in nature. We just have to do a lot of erasing around the kitchen table. From math homework and alphabetical order of the week’s spelling words to deleting items off the grocery store list and not getting the answer to fit correctly into the crossword puzzle, I’ve learned to really respect the lowly eraser. Believe me, I’ve become a big fan! One of us is always in dire need of an eraser for corrective purposes. Plus, the eraser is so inexpensive when it comes to promotional desk and office supplies, that it pays to keep not one, but several, around the house. And that’s why do-overs really aren’t so difficult. A few sweeps with the eraser and it’s like that mistake never even existed.
